Servicing
Most modern cars toady only require a service once a year. For older cars the service interval is every 6 months.
The manufacturers handbook is your best tool to identify what interval is best for your car. The type of service required will be governed by how you use the car. If you use your car for short frequent commutes where the engine does not have a chance to warm up properly then you will probably need more frequent oil and filter changes.
In between regular services.
